Being adopted and/or being separated from a child through adoption is often a complex and traumatic experience. Creative practices can offer a form of liberation and healing.
Our VANISH Creative Expression Workshops return in 2023 with a more diverse, expanded program featuring visual art, therapeutic writing, and textiles led by distinguished artists and facilitators.
Our workshops provide a safe space to explore a wide range of emotions and complex personal narratives. They are FREE and open to adopted people (both domestic and intercountry) and mothers (natural mothers).
No artistic experience or skill is necessary. The goal isn’t to create something “beautiful” or “good”. It’s about accessing and giving voice to thoughts, feelings, and memories through creative expression.
